Disappointed

Don’t you just hate the feeling? The feeling whereby you thought you have achieved something, but you actually don’t?

Every single time! 

Whenever I believe I’ve broken my peak, I am proved wrong. How am I ever gonna believe I’ve improved at all. How am I suppose to believe in something I have problems believing in anymore? It sucks, to be disappointed. Especially at yourself.

It’s so much easier blaming the whole world instead of myself. 

Change

The only thing constant is change. 

I remember clearly the last time I had a quarrel with someone was about her changing. This time I’m actually squabbled with someone about me changing or rather, changed. 

Yes, change can be both bad or good. But really, what exactly is bad, and what exactly is good? Today I received a text saying that I have changed for the worst after entering NTU. Really? So what is bad? And what went worse? If anything, I accept the change. 

Change is a choice. Whether you are influenced or not, it’s your choice. 

If you mix around a group of hooligans, and you decided that their habits are bad and you do not want to continue wasting your life away, you leave and you change for the better. You choose. 

He texted agreeing with my point above, and said I chose to change for the worst.  As far as I’m concerned, he is the only one who has a problem with me. But really, readers, do you agree with me that life is just composed of choices? 

Everyone changes. Berlinda in 1998 is not the same as the Berlinda in 2012. Neither is the Berlinda in 2009 the same as now. No one stays the same. We interact with different people, experience different things, go through different problems and our community shapes us. This is true, but no matter what, we hold the power to edit personalities we hate in us, and we hold the power to alter the image we want to portray to others. 

Just because the person you once knew is no longer the same, does not mean that the change is bad. Because, you know something? It could be that you changed so much that you feel that I’ve changed instead. It’s a relative kind of thing, if you get what I mean. And yes, I know you did.  

Holidays/The Avengers

The holidays actually meant the doom of Wallet. Since Liberation Day begun, it had been sucha joy for me and my soul to indulge in awesome food that I have not had it for quite some time! 

Went shopping in town with my sister, and had fun looking at fashion and items, then allowing myself a cup of…. ICE CREAM! It’s been sucha LOOOOOOOOONG TIME since I’ve had one! 

Baileys and Coffee flavoured ice-cream with my sister! 

Then, I met up with CS, WZ and KY for dinner at MARCHE! The last time I was there was stone age. Had rosti, as usual. I ought to be giving their ribeye steak a chance someday. 

And because Exams was pronounced dead (temporary), I finally am able to meet Jazzy dear properly for a long talk! This was my Gyudon craving, at Tea Dot! Sipping on Iced Angel’s Breathe and Earl Grey Toffee!  

Then, I hosted NTU Weiqi Club Annual Gathering! At Aloha Loyang Chalet! We prepared steamboat with grill and had loads of fun going at war with each other for the cheese tofu and shitake mushrooms! 

QH all ready to go to war! 

And finally, today. 

Second time meeting Jazzy dear within a week’s frame! Went to our favourite chill out place, Coffeebean and tried something new this time for our routine chatting session! She had Iced Caramel Macchiato, and mine is the Tropical fruit tea latte! Mine was on par with TCC’s berry latte! 

Next, AFTER WATCHING THE AVENGERS WHICH IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ACTION LOVING FRIENDS OF MINE, I FINALLY AT LONG LAST TRY OUT UDDERS! There’s a branch at Upper Thompson Rd! She had Ballsy Mint and mine Rum and Raisin! =D

Liberation

Finally the exams are over. 

It’s funny how I hate exams, yet feeling all-so-lost once I am done with it. I have a list of stuffs that I wanna learn/achieve/do for this long holiday before Year 3 sem 1 starts. 

It’s amazing how fast life passes you by when you’re studying. Just like this, I’ve already completed 4 semesters. Just like that, 2 years passed already. 

I can’t wait for it to end. I want total liberation from the education system.
